DESCRIPTION
The CA5-22M is an auxiliary contact block designed for use with ABB block contactors (A9 through A75 series), providing 2 normally open (NO) and 2 normally closed (NC) contacts for control circuit applications. It is rated for a maximum auxiliary circuit voltage of 690 V and main circuit voltage of 24 V, with a rated breaking capacity of 10 × Ie AC-15 and rated operational currents ranging from 2 A at 690 V to 6 A at 24/127 V. The block features a maximum electrical switching frequency of 1200 cycles per hour and mechanical switching frequency of 3600 cycles per hour, with mechanical durability rated at 10 million cycles. It is mounted on the front face of compatible contactors using screw terminals and operates at 50/60 Hz with a degree of protection of IP20 for auxiliary terminals. The CA5-22M is commonly used in industrial control systems for auxiliary signaling, interlocking, and status indication in motor control, automation, and power distribution applications.
