DESCRIPTION
The 1852-BR005 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical interconnections and prototyping applications. It features a 28 AWG tinned copper conductor with a nominal 0.010" wall PVC insulation, providing a total outer diameter of 0.035" ± 0.002". The wire is rated for 600 V RMS operation and complies with military specifications MIL-W-76B TYPE LW (90°C / 300 V RMS) and MIL-W-16878E/1 (105°C / 600 V RMS), with an operating temperature range of -55°C to 105°C. Key electrical characteristics include a nominal inductance of 0.07 µH/ft and a conductor DC resistance of 65 O/1000ft at 20°C, with a maximum pull tension of 1.37 lbs and a minimum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter.
