DESCRIPTION

The 2254/4-SL005 is a four-conductor shielded twisted-pair cable assembly manufactured by Alpha Wire, designed for low-voltage signal transmission and control applications. The cable features 22 AWG tinned copper conductors (7/30 stranding) with 0.016" nominal PVC insulation, twisted at 6.0 twists per foot minimum and wrapped with clear Mylar tape at 25% overlap. A braided copper spiral shield provides 95% minimum coverage, enclosed within a 0.020" nominal PVC jacket in slate color. The cable operates over a temperature range of -20°C to +80°C with a voltage rating of 300V RMS, making it suitable for industrial control systems, instrumentation, and data acquisition applications where reliable signal integrity and EMI protection are required.
