DESCRIPTION
2855/1-RD005 is a high-temperature hookup wire designed for demanding electrical applications requiring reliable insulation and conductor performance. The wire features a 22 AWG solid copper conductor with a nominal 0.010" wall PTFE insulation, providing excellent chemical resistance and thermal stability across a wide temperature range of -60°C to 200°C. It meets UL AWM/STYLE 1213 VW-1 standards at 105°C and MIL-W-16878/4 (Type E) military specifications at 200°C with a 600 VRMS rating, ensuring compliance with rigorous safety and performance requirements. The wire exhibits a conductor DC resistance of 16.2 O/1000ft at 20°C and an inductance of 0.05 µH/ft, with a maximum pull tension of 5 lbs and a bend radius of 10X cable diameter.
