DESCRIPTION
The 3049-OR005 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical interconnections and wiring applications. It features a 26 AWG (7/34) tinned copper conductor with a nominal 0.016" wall PVC insulation, providing an overall diameter of 0.051 ± 0.002 inches. The wire is rated for 300 V RMS and complies with UL AWM/STYLE 1007 (80°C) and AWM/STYLE 1569 (105°C) standards, as well as CSA International TR-64 (90°C) and FT1 specifications. It operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C with a maximum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter and a maximum pull tension of 2.18 lbs. The wire is available in multiple colors including orange (as indicated by the -OR005 designation) and is RoHS 2 and RoHS 3 compliant. Common applications include internal wiring in electronic equipment, control circuits, and general-purpose interconnections where flame-retardant, temperature-rated hookup wire is required.
