DESCRIPTION
The 3211-SL005 is a two-conductor shielded twisted-pair cable designed for reliable signal transmission in industrial and electronic applications. It features 24 AWG tinned copper conductors (19/36 stranding) with PVC insulation (0.010" wall nominal) and a 0.003" wall nylon outer layer, twisted at 8.0 twists per foot minimum and wrapped with clear Mylar tape at 25% overlap. The cable incorporates a tinned copper braid shield with 90% coverage and a 0.016" nominal PVC jacket in slate color, with a characteristic impedance of 52 O and overall diameter of 0.159 inches. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C with a maximum pull tension of 10.8 lbs and a bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter. This cable is ideal for applications requiring controlled impedance, low capacitance, and EMI shielding, such as instrumentation, data acquisition, and signal routing in harsh environments.
