5856-GR001 is a PTFE-insulated hookup wire designed for high-temperature and high-reliability applications. It features a 20 AWG (19/32) silver-plated copper conductor with a nominal diameter of 0.040 inches and PTFE insulation with a 0.010" wall thickness, resulting in an overall insulation diameter of 0.058 ± 0.004 inches. The wire is rated for 600 VRMS and operates over a wide temperature range of -60°C to 200°C, meeting MIL-W-16878/4 (Type E) military specifications and UL AWM/STYLE 1213 with VW-1 flame rating. With a maximum pull tension of 9.6 lbs and a bend radius of 10X cable diameter, this wire is suitable for aerospace, military, and industrial applications requiring excellent thermal stability and chemical resistance.
