DESCRIPTION

The 6376-SL005 is a 5-pair shielded twisted-pair cable designed for control and instrumentation applications requiring reliable signal transmission. Each pair consists of 22 AWG (7/30) tinned copper conductors with 0.010" nominal PVC insulation, twisted at 8.0 twists/foot minimum, and the five pairs are cabled together at 3.7 twists/foot minimum. The cable features an aluminum/mylar tape shield with 25% overlap and tinned copper braid at 65% coverage minimum, with a 24 AWG tinned copper drain wire, all enclosed in a 0.032" nominal PVC jacket with slate color. Electrical characteristics include a 300 V RMS voltage rating, 70 O characteristic impedance, and a conductor DC resistance of 16.5 O/1000 ft at 20°C. The cable operates over a temperature range of -20 to 80°C, supports a maximum pull tension of 63 lbs, and complies with UL AWM/STYLE 2464, CSA CMG/FT4, and EU RoHS Directive 2011/65/EU standards. This construction makes it ideal for industrial control systems, data acquisition, and shielded signal distribution where EMI rejection and signal integrity are essential.
