DESCRIPTION
The 6716-GR001 is a single-conductor hookup wire featuring 16 AWG tinned copper (TC) conductor with 0.011 inch nominal wall modified polyphenylene ether insulation, designed for general-purpose electrical applications. The wire is rated for 600 V RMS at 105°C continuous operation and complies with UL AWM/STYLE 11028 VW-1 and CSA C(RU) AWM I A/B FT1 standards, with halogen-free construction meeting IEC 60332-2 flame behavior requirements. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C with a maximum bend radius of 10 times the cable diameter and a conductor DC resistance of 4.4 O/1000 ft at 20°C. This wire is commonly used in control circuits, instrumentation, and general wiring applications where flame-retardant, halogen-free properties and high-temperature performance are required.
