DESCRIPTION
The 7053-BK005 is a single-conductor hookup wire featuring a 26 AWG tinned copper conductor (7/34 stranding) with 0.010" nominal wall PVC insulation, irradiated for enhanced durability. It is rated for 150 V RMS at 80°C per UL AWM/STYLE 1429 and CSA AWM I A/B FT1 standards, with military qualification to MIL-W-16878E TYPE B at 105°C and 600 V RMS. The wire has a nominal outer diameter of 0.039" ± 0.002", a conductor DC resistance of 41 O/1000 ft at 20°C, and an inductance of 0.06 µH/ft. It operates across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C with a maximum bend radius of 10× cable diameter and pull tension of 2.18 lbs. This wire is ideal for general-purpose interconnections, prototyping, and low-voltage control circuits in industrial, commercial, and consumer electronic applications.
