DESCRIPTION

The 86002CY-SL005 is a two-conductor shielded continuous flex data cable designed for high-reliability signal transmission in demanding environments. It features 28 AWG (7/36) tinned copper conductors with 0.010" PVC insulation, a flexible aluminum/mylar shield with 26 AWG tinned copper drain wire, and a 0.040" PVC jacket in slate color. The cable operates over a temperature range of -10°C to 105°C (static) and +5°C to 105°C (dynamic), with a 300V RMS voltage rating and characteristic impedance of 70O. It exhibits low capacitance of 27 pF/ft (conductor-to-conductor) and 49 pF/ft (ground), with a conductor DC resistance of 66O/1000ft at 20°C. This cable is ideal for data transmission, instrumentation, and control applications requiring continuous flexing, EMI shielding, and compliance with UL/CSA standards including RoHS and REACH regulations.
