DESCRIPTION
FIT221V1IN-RED-5X4 is a red cross-linked polyolefin heat shrinkable tubing designed for wire and cable insulation and protection. It features a minimum supplied inner diameter of 1.000 inch that shrinks to a maximum recovered inner diameter of 0.500 inch, providing a 2:1 shrink ratio. The tubing operates over a temperature range of -55 to 135°C with a full recovery temperature of 121°C and minimum shrink temperature of 90°C. Key mechanical properties include tensile strength of 1500 psi minimum and elongation of 200% minimum, while electrical properties feature dielectric strength of 500 V/mil minimum. This tubing is UL 224 and CSA 198 certified for 600V applications and meets AMS-DTL-23053/5 Class 1 specifications, making it suitable for aerospace, military, and industrial applications requiring reliable insulation and environmental protection.
