DESCRIPTION
F6005/8-BK008 is a heat shrinkable tubing designed for electrical insulation and cable protection applications. Manufactured from chlorinated polyolefin material, it features a minimum supplied inner diameter of 0.625 inches and a maximum recovered inner diameter of 0.357 inches with a nominal recovered wall thickness of 0.052 inches, providing approximately a 2:1 shrink ratio. The tubing operates across a temperature range of -75°C to +121°C with a full recovery temperature of 130°C, and demonstrates excellent mechanical properties including a minimum tensile strength of 1500 psi and 250% elongation per ASTM D638. It meets AMS-DTL-23053/1 Class 1 and 2 specifications, passes flammability requirements, and is RoHS 2 and China RoHS compliant, making it suitable for aerospace, automotive, and industrial wiring harness applications where reliable insulation and environmental resistance are essential.
