DESCRIPTION
M4220-BK001 is a dual coaxial cable assembly manufactured by Alpha Wire, designed for reliable signal transmission in military and commercial applications. The cable features two 20 AWG tinned copper conductors (7/28 stranding) with 0.0205" polyethylene insulation walls, twisted together at 4.8 twists per foot minimum, and protected by a tinned copper braid shield with 85% minimum coverage. The outer jacket is Type IIA PVC with 0.028" nominal wall thickness and black color, with an overall cable diameter of 0.235 inches. Electrically, the cable is rated for 750 V RMS with a characteristic impedance of 78 O ±7, operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C, and complies with MIL-C-171/RG 108 TYPE specifications. This cable is ideal for instrumentation, data acquisition, and signal routing in aerospace, military, and industrial environments where shielding and signal integrity are critical.
