DESCRIPTION

The AZ989-2C-12DSE is a 25 Amp sub-micro automotive relay featuring a dual Form C (DPDT) contact arrangement designed for high-current switching in compact automotive applications. It delivers a maximum switched power of 400 W at 16 VDC with a rated load of 25 A at 16 VDC for locked motor conditions, utilizing silver tin oxide contacts with contact resistance less than 25 milliohms. The relay operates with a nominal coil voltage of 12 VDC, a must-operate voltage of 7.2 VDC, and a maximum continuous voltage of 20 VDC, with a coil resistance of 225 O (±10%) and typical power dissipation of 230 mW at pickup. Engineered for automotive power windows, door locks, wiper motors, and seat adjusters, the relay offers mechanical life expectancy of 1×106 operations and electrical life of 1×105 operations at 25 A and 14 VDC, with vibration and shock resistance (4.5g at 10–500 Hz, 10g operational shock) and epoxy sealing for automatic wave soldering compatibility.
