DESCRIPTION
The NPA-500B-05WD is a surface-mount pressure sensor from the NPA Series designed for cost-effective, calibrated pressure measurement applications. This sensor features amplified analog output with 5V DC excitation (4.75 V to 5.25 V operating range) and dual barbed ports for gauge pressure types, packaged in a SOIC14 surface-mount configuration. The sensor operates over a temperature range of -40°C to +125°C with a compensated range of 0°C to 60°C, delivering a total error band of ±1.5% FSO and proof pressure capability of 60 psi. The 5 PSI (35 kPa) pressure range with amplified analog output provides an offset of 0.44 to 0.56 Volts and a span of 4 Volts, making it suitable for printed circuit board mounting in tape and reel form. Common applications include HVAC systems, medical devices, industrial instrumentation, and automotive pressure monitoring where reliable, compact pressure sensing is required.
