DESCRIPTION
BAF147B002-00A0 is a water detection sensor designed to detect moisture leakage in battery pack systems and fluid containment applications by monitoring changes in resistance value. The sensor features a nominal resistance of 510 kO ± 3% with a 100 kO pull-up configuration and operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, ensuring reliable performance across diverse environmental conditions. It is designed to withstand rigorous durability testing including vibration, thermal cycling, impact, and high-temperature/humidity exposure, with impact durability ratings supporting 10-year and 15-year warranty requirements depending on installation location. The sensor is RoHS compliant and operates on 5V DC, making it suitable for integration with Battery Management Systems (BMS) in electric vehicles, HVAC condensate detection, tank level monitoring, and leak detection applications.
