DESCRIPTION
FRJAE488 is an 8-position RJ45 connector assembly manufactured by Amphenol Commercial Products, designed for high-temperature applications with optional shielding and ferrite filtering capabilities. The connector features a high-temperature thermoplastic housing with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, phosphor bronze contacts with gold plating (50 µ" minimum on mating surfaces and 50 µ" minimum nickel underplate), and a copper alloy shield with nickel plating and pure-tin dipped PCB tail. Electrically, it is rated for 125 volts AC and 1.5 amps, with optional ferrite cores available for EMI filtering. The connector is available in both shielded and non-shielded configurations, making it suitable for networking, telecommunications, and industrial applications requiring reliable high-speed data transmission with environmental protection.
