DESCRIPTION
The L717DFB25P is a D-Sub connector featuring a 25-pin configuration with male contacts and a tinned steel shell with dimples for secure plug engagement. The connector utilizes a glass-filled thermoplastic body with flame-retardant brass contacts (UL94 V-0), and employs a steel shell with 2.5 µm minimum tin plating over 1.25 µm minimum nickel, with contacts finished in 0.4 µm minimum gold over 1.25 µm minimum nickel. Electrically, it is rated for 300 V RMS at 50 Hz with a current rating of 7.5 A, insulation resistance greater than 5000 MO, and contact resistance of 20 mO maximum. The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C and withstands damp heat conditions of 56 days at 40°C and 95% relative humidity.
