DESCRIPTION
MUSBA511N0 is a rugged USB Series A vertical PCB-mount connector manufactured by Amphenol, featuring 4 contacts per port with no rear shield and metric thread (M3x0.5) options. The connector is rated for 1.5A per contact with a maximum contact resistance of 30 mO and insulation resistance of 1000 MO minimum, with a dielectric withstand voltage of 500V AC at sea level. It meets military shock and vibration standards (EIA364-27 Condition H at 11ms 30G, EIA364-28 Condition V), operates reliably from -40°C to +105°C, and is RoHS compliant with phosphor bronze contacts (30µm gold over 50µm nickel) and die-cast zinc alloy shell with nickel plating. The connector supports 1500 mating cycles and is suitable for hand or wave soldering peaked at 260°C for 8 seconds maximum, making it ideal for networking, telecom, server, storage, professional audio, and military/aerospace applications requiring robust USB connectivity.
