DESCRIPTION
MUSBK152001 is a Micro-AB series rugged USB connector featuring a right-angle PCB tail termination, engineered for deployment in harsh and demanding environments. The connector meets military shock and vibration standards and is rated IP67 per IEC 60529 in both mated and unmated conditions, providing robust protection against dust and moisture ingress. It supports up to 1.8A per contact with a contact resistance of 30 mO maximum, 100 MO minimum insulation resistance, and 100V AC dielectric withstand voltage. The connector operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C with a 30°C temperature rise limit, and features 10,000 mating cycles for extended service life. Typical applications include medical equipment, GPS and positioning systems, military vehicles and radios, test equipment, and mobile entertainment systems where environmental protection and durability are critical.
