DESCRIPTION
MUSBRA21130 is a rugged USB Series 'A' receptacle connector featuring a right-angle configuration with an on-PCB cable header, diecast shell, and threaded mounting holes for secure panel installation. The connector is constructed with an FR-4 fiberglass PCB (UL94V-0 rated), thermoplastic housing with brass gold-plated nickel contacts, and a metal back cover for EMI shielding. It provides IP67 environmental sealing between the mating area and PCB side, with a conductive panel gasket for additional protection, and optional dust cover availability. The connector supports a current rating of 1.5 amperes with a maximum contact resistance of 100 milliohms, operating reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +105°C. This rugged design is ideal for industrial, marine, and harsh-environment applications requiring reliable USB connectivity with enhanced durability and EMI protection.
