DESCRIPTION
RJE722886441 is a shielded modular jack connector featuring 1×2 ports with 8 positions and 8 contacts, designed for network connectivity with integrated LED indicators. The connector is constructed with a stainless steel shield with tin-dip solder tabs, high-temperature thermoplastic housing (UL 94V-0), and phosphor bronze contacts with selective gold plating on mating surfaces and 100 µm matte tin plating on solder tails. It operates at 125 VAC with a current rating of 1.25 amps per contact, insulating resistance of 500 megohms minimum, and dielectric strength up to 1,500 VAC between contact and LED. The connector supports Category 5E specifications with shielding performance ranging from 65 dB at 1 MHz down to 43 dB at 100 MHz, and operates reliably across -55°C to +85°C. This connector is ideal for Ethernet and network installations requiring integrated status indication through dual LED options (single or bi-color configurations).
