DESCRIPTION
The RJHSE5480 is a high-speed RJ45 modular jack featuring 8 positions and 8 contacts with shielding and integrated LEDs for network applications. The connector utilizes a high-temperature thermoplastic housing with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, phosphor bronze contacts with gold plating (50 µ" minimum on mating surfaces and 50 µ" minimum nickel underplate), and matte tin finish (100 µ" minimum) on contact tails for reliable solder connections. The housing dimensions are 0.650±0.015 inches (16.51±0.38 mm) in width and 0.530±0.015 inches (13.46±0.38 mm) in depth, with a stainless steel shield featuring tin finish on the solder tail. The connector supports bi-color LED options (red/yellow and green/orange) or single-color LEDs (red, green, or yellow) for status indication, with 12 mounting holes (Ø0.035±0.015 inches) for PCB integration. This RoHS-compliant connector is ideal for high-speed network installations, telecommunications equipment, and data center applications requiring reliable signal transmission with visual status feedback.
