DESCRIPTION
The 52601-S20-4LF is a 0.100/2.54 mm low-profile shrouded vertical header connector designed for reliable through-hole PCB interconnections. This connector features a 2×5 position configuration with a post length of 0.230 inches (5.84 mm) and is constructed from high-temperature thermoplastic housing (UL94V-0 rated) with phosphor-bronze pins. The housing material is either high-temperature thermoplastic or mineral-filled LCP flame retardant, both meeting UL-94V-0 standards, and the pins are underplated with 50 µm nickel. The connector is lead-free (LF) compliant and can withstand 260°C peak temperature for 15 seconds in wave solder or 20 seconds in reflow oven applications, making it suitable for modern PCB assembly processes. Common applications include industrial control systems, telecommunications equipment, and consumer electronics requiring robust, cost-effective interconnection solutions.
