DESCRIPTION
The 65692-001LF is a Quickie® Shrouded Header Low Profile connector designed for flat cable-to-board connections using 2.54mm pitch IDC technology. It features a four-walled shrouded design with glass-filled thermoplastic polyester housing (UL94V-0 rated) and phosphor-bronze pins with gold/GXT plating (0.76µm minimum, 1.27µm nickel). The connector supports a continuous current rating of 3A, insulation resistance of 1×105MO minimum, and dielectric withstanding voltage of 500V RMS, with pin retention to housing of 20N minimum. Operating across a temperature range of -65°C to +125°C, it is compatible with wave, vapor-phase, and IR reflow soldering processes, and is RoHS compliant. This connector is ideal for electronic control systems, communication equipment, servers, industrial automation, instrumentation, vending machines, and medical applications where reliable, cost-effective flat cable termination is required.
