DESCRIPTION
The 72309-8034BLF is a universal serial bus (USB) double-deck receptacle designed for through-hole PCB mounting. This model features a white UL 94-V-0 rated thermoplastic housing with a barrel-plated nickel and bright tin shell, which includes a back shield and front grounding arms for structural integrity and EMI protection. The copper alloy contacts have 30u" GXT plating in the contact area and 100u" matte tin on the 2.80mm tails, over a 50u" nickel underplate. As a lead-free component, it is compliant with European Union directives, withstands reflow soldering temperatures up to 260°C, and is recommended for a PCB thickness of 1.57mm.
