DESCRIPTION
The 8655MH3701BLF is a Size 37 D-Sub metal backshell assembly designed for high-frequency shielded connector applications. It features UNC 4.40 threading with a black plastic headscrew and is constructed from zinc die-cast material with nickel plating for corrosion resistance. The backshell incorporates a polycarbonate strain relief (UL94V-0) and supports cable diameters from 4.0 to 13.0 mm, with an attenuation factor exceeding 40 dB between 30 MHz and 1 GHz. Operating over a temperature range of -40°C to 120°C, it is rated for a maximum cover screwing force of 100 Ncm and jackscrew screwing force of 50 Ncm. This product is ideal for industrial, telecommunications, and high-reliability applications requiring robust EMI shielding and secure cable termination.
