DESCRIPTION
163A18389X is a D-SUB male 90° right-angle connector with 9 positions and angled solder pins at 0.318 inch spacing, designed for PCB mounting applications. The connector features steel metalshells with minimum 315µin tin over 40-80µin nickel plating, PBT GF UL 94 V-0 black insulators, and copper alloy signal contacts with gold flash over nickel plating. It includes threaded inserts (4-40 UNC), mounting brackets, and grounding clips made from copper alloy with minimum 200µin tin over 80µin nickel plating. The connector is designed for PCB thickness of 1.6mm with Ø3.1±0.1mm mounting holes and has a maximum torque value of 6 in.LB for threaded connections. This connector is ideal for industrial, telecommunications, and computing applications requiring reliable D-SUB interconnections with secure PCB mounting.
