DESCRIPTION
97-3106A-16S-5P is a medium to heavy-weight cylindrical connector from Amphenol's 97 Series, designed for reliable field-proven applications requiring durable electrical connections. This straight plug connector features a 16-contact insert arrangement with 5 circuits, solder-type termination, and a threaded coupling ring machined from solid aluminum bar stock for high tensile strength. The connector operates across a wide temperature range from -55°C to +125°C and includes single key/keyway polarization for proper mating alignment. It is intermateable and intermountable with existing 97 Series and SAE AS50151 connectors, and carries UL recognition (File E115497) and CSA certification (File LR69183).
