DESCRIPTION
97-420-27S is a standard cylindrical connector box receptacle from the Amphenol 97 Series with rear release crimp contacts. It features a size 20 shell with a 20-27 insert arrangement providing 14 size 16 socket contacts with 1/16 inch (1.57 mm) mechanical spacing and Service Rating A (700V DC / 500V AC RMS). The connector utilizes a rugged metal shell with conductive finish, stamped and formed crimp contacts with closed entry socket contacts and plastic retention. It is intermateable and intermountable with existing 97 Series and SAE AS50151 connectors, and carries UL recognition (File E115497), CSA certification (File #069183_0_000), and CE certification. This connector is ideal for industrial applications requiring reliable, high-speed termination with reduced equipment down-time.
