M85049/52-1-22N is a strain relief clamp backshell designed for MIL-DTL-38999 Series III & IV circular connectors in a straight orientation configuration. The backshell is constructed from aluminum alloy and stainless steel materials with an A.N.W.Z. finish (Anodized, Nickel, Zinc, or equivalent), providing corrosion resistance and environmental protection. It features a shell size 22 designation with specific dimensional specifications including a maximum outer diameter (N) of 1.625 inches (41.28 mm) and a maximum inner diameter (P) of 1.500 inches (38.10 mm), along with a braid inner diameter reference of 1.69 inches (42.93 mm).
