DESCRIPTION
The 031-2225 is a Twin BNC bulkhead receptacle (jack) connector designed for front-mount applications with twinaxial cables. It features polarized contact construction with a 2-stud bayonet mating mechanism, supporting impedances of 78 ohm and 95 ohm twin conductor cables across a frequency range of 0-100 MHz. The connector utilizes beryllium copper female contacts with silver plating, brass male contacts, and insulators made of TFE or Noryl, with a braid clamp and "V" groove gasket mechanism for secure cable affixment. Operating over a temperature range of -65°C to +165°C (TFE) or -45°C to +121°C (Noryl), with a voltage rating of 100 volts peak, the 031-2225 is weatherproof when mated and meets applicable sections of MIL-C-3655. This connector is ideal for military, aerospace, and high-reliability applications requiring robust twinaxial signal transmission.
