DESCRIPTION
The 031-5540 is a 50 ohm BNC jack PCB receptacle designed for low-profile right-angle mounting applications. It features a frequency range of DC to 1 GHz with a dielectric withstanding voltage of 1500 VRMS minimum, making it suitable for reliable RF signal transmission. The connector is constructed with a zinc alloy nickel-plated body, phosphor bronze gold-plated contacts, and a polypropylene insulator, ensuring durability and excellent electrical performance. With a mechanical durability rating of 500 cycles minimum and an operating temperature range of -55°C to +85°C, this connector is ideal for demanding RF and microwave applications including test equipment, communication systems, and instrumentation where compact form factor and reliable connections are essential.
