DESCRIPTION
031-70008 is a 75O BNC straight crimp-crimp cable plug designed for terminating miniature coaxial cables. This connector features a nickel-plated brass body with gold-plated male contact, utilizing a 2-stud bayonet lock coupling mechanism for quick connect/disconnect operation. The Type 1 design delivers performance from DC to 4 GHz with a nominal impedance of 75O, a VSWR of 1.5 + 0.1f (GHz) across the DC–4 GHz band, and a return loss of 55 dB minimum at 3 GHz. The connector is rated for a temperature range of -65°C to +165°C and features low contact resistance (center contact =1.5 mO, outer contact =0.2 mO), making it suitable for video distribution, cable television, and other 75O RF applications requiring reliable, repeatable connections.
