DESCRIPTION
AHDM06-18-06PN is a DuraMate™ AHDM Series metal circular connector designed for harsh-environment, heavy-duty applications requiring environmentally-sealed, multi-pin connectivity. This plug connector features a Shell Size 18 configuration with 4-6 contact positions, supporting wire gauges from 4-20 AWG and rated for 100A and 13A at 250V, making it suitable for demanding industrial and off-road applications. The connector incorporates an integrated wide thread coupling mechanism with a nominal diameter rear seal (red) and silver body finish, providing robust environmental protection and reliable mating cycles. The design includes a backshell with weep holes (AHDMBS-18-072) for moisture management, and the connector is compatible with various backshell and boot accessories for flexible installation configurations. Common applications include agricultural equipment (ISOBUS 91 Series compatibility), industrial machinery, and mobile equipment where sealed, high-current connections are essential.
