DESCRIPTION
The 1461G2-BK is a black plug shell without latch designed for 5–6 pole Powerpole® connector configurations. This component can mate inline with other plug shells with or without latches, or connect to a panel mount receptacle, providing flexible integration in power distribution systems. The shell accommodates wire sizes from #20 AWG (0.75 mm²) to #10 AWG (6 mm²) with power capabilities up to 55 amps per pole, and features a compact footprint with a dimension of 1.56 inches (39.62 mm) in length. The finger-proof housing design protects against accidental contact with live circuits and meets UL1977 section 10.2 requirements with an IP20 rating. This connector is ideal for circuit interrupt and hot plug applications, supporting up to 10,000 mating cycles, and is commonly used in modular office and industrial equipment installations where reliable power connections are essential.
