DESCRIPTION
The 3-5956P1 is a 1x4 auxiliary connector housing designed for integration with SBE 160 and SBX 175 power connectors. This genderless auxiliary housing accommodates up to 4 auxiliary circuits, each rated for 20 amps at 150 volts, enabling intelligent power switching, CAN bus communication, and interlock loop circuitry. The housing features gold-plated pin and socket contacts with selectively plated designs offering low resistance and durability up to 10,000 mating cycles. It supports wire sizes from 12 to 24 AWG (2.5 to 0.25 mm²) with multiple pin contact lengths available for circuit sequencing. The 3-5956P1 is commonly used in battery management systems, power distribution modules, and industrial control applications where auxiliary signaling and control functions must be integrated with high-current power delivery.
