DESCRIPTION
HFX10S10 is a first-generation Hall effect joystick designed for precision finger-operated applications requiring proportional control and long trouble-free life. It features non-contacting Hall effect technology with infinite resolution, rated for 3 million lifecycle cycles, and supports one, two, or three axes operation with configurable output voltage options (0V to 5V rail-to-rail or custom ranges). The joystick exhibits low operational force of 2.8 N (0.63 lbf) for X and Y axes, operates on 5.0 VDC supply with maximum current consumption of 10 mA per axis, and provides output impedance of 6 O with return-to-center voltage stability of ±200 mV. Its compact size, high reliability, and sealing capability up to IP68 make it ideally suited for clean environment applications including coordinate measuring machines, CCTV equipment, and broadcast camera control systems.
