DESCRIPTION
The HT45S40U is a ruggedized 3-axis Hall effect joystick with 2 pushbuttons designed for demanding industrial and mobile equipment control. It features a square mounting plate with slotted limiter configuration and spring-centering lever action on all axes. The joystick operates over a supply voltage range of 6 VDC to 35 VDC with a maximum current consumption of 10 mA per axis, and delivers output voltage options ranging from 0V to 5V rail-to-rail. Mechanically, it provides a break-out force of 1.8 N on X and Y axes, a break-out torque of 0.09 N·m on the Z axis, and an expected operational life of 10 million cycles with glass-filled nylon construction. The device is sealed to IP65–IP68 standards, operates reliably across -25°C to +70°C, and supports multiple interface options including CANbus J1939 and USB 1.1 HID compliance, making it ideal for heavy equipment, agricultural machinery, and industrial control systems requiring robust, long-life positioning control.
