DESCRIPTION
The AGQ500-48S50P-6L is a quarter-brick isolated DC-DC converter from Advanced Energy's Artesyn AGQ500 series, designed to deliver 500 W of regulated power with a 50V/10A output. It features an input voltage range of 36–75 Vdc, optimized for standard 48 V telecommunications equipment supplies, and achieves ultra-high efficiency of 95% at typical full load conditions. The converter provides excellent isolation with 2250 Vdc input-to-output isolation, low output noise of 100 mV, and operates reliably across -40°C to +85°C with no minimum load requirement. Its primary applications include low-power and remote radio head (RRH) telecommunications systems, where high power density, thermal performance, and low noise are critical requirements.
