DESCRIPTION
The ATA00AA36S-L is a 3-watt isolated DC-DC converter from the Artesyn ATA series, designed to convert 18–75 VDC input to dual ±5V outputs at 300 mA per rail. It features 1500 VDC I/O isolation with 1000 MO insulation resistance and operates at 77% efficiency with a switching frequency of 350 kHz. The converter includes output voltage tolerance of ±2.0%, line regulation of 1.0%, load regulation of 1.2%, and output noise/ripple of 100 mV, along with overload protection (150% foldback) and short-circuit protection (hiccup mode). Housed in an ultra-compact surface-mount package measuring 23.8 × 13.7 × 8.0 mm, it operates across -40°C to +85°C and is qualified for lead-free reflow solder processing. The device is ideal for data communication, telecommunications, computer peripherals, industrial automation, and mobile battery-powered systems requiring galvanic isolation and compact form factors.
