DESCRIPTION
The AXA04A36-LHS is a 20 W isolated DC-DC converter from Artesyn's AXA series, designed to convert an 18–75 Vdc input to a regulated 5 V output at up to 4 A. It features an ultra-wide 4:1 input voltage range and achieves 89% efficiency, with output voltage tolerance of ±1.0% and line regulation of ±0.2% for single output models. The converter is fully encapsulated in a compact 1.0 × 1.0 × 0.4 inch metal case with an isolated baseplate, incorporating 1,500 Vdc input/output isolation and hiccup mode short-circuit protection. Standard features include a switching frequency of 330 kHz, output noise/ripple of 75 mV, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. This design is ideal for mission-critical applications in semiconductor equipment, industrial systems, telecommunications, and data center computing where reliable power conversion and compact form factor are essential.
