DESCRIPTION
AYA00B24-L is a 2-watt isolated DC-DC converter from the Artesyn AYA series designed for low-power applications in data communication, telecommunications, computer peripherals, industrial automation, and mobile battery-powered systems. The converter accepts an input voltage range of 18-36 Vdc and provides a regulated 12 Vdc single output at 0.167 A with 87% efficiency. It features comprehensive protection including 1500 Vdc input-to-output isolation, overload protection at 170% of rated load with foldback, and continuous short-circuit protection with automatic recovery. The device operates reliably across -40°C to +85°C ambient temperature with a calculated MTBF of 3.5 million hours, making it suitable for demanding industrial and telecommunications applications requiring high reliability and galvanic isolation.
