DESCRIPTION
The LES50A48-1V2REJ is a high-efficiency, isolated DC/DC converter in the Typhoon eighth-brick series designed for high-current, low-voltage applications. This performance model accepts 48 V input (operating range 36–75 Vdc) and delivers 1.2 V output at a maximum continuous current of 50 A, achieving 86% typical efficiency. The converter features a low-profile through-hole design with industry-standard eighth-brick footprint, providing 38% space savings compared to quarter-brick alternatives, and operates reliably across a wide ambient temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Key protection features include overvoltage and overtemperature protection, monotonic start-up capability, and secondary-side control with fast transient response (20 µs recovery time). The unit is rated for 100 V, 100 ms input voltage transients and supports 80–110% output voltage trim, making it ideal for telecommunications, server power distribution, and high-performance computing applications requiring compact, efficient power conversion.
