DESCRIPTION
AR-28-HZL-TT is a 28-contact IC socket connector designed for through-hole mounting applications. It features a tin-plated outer sleeve with gold-flashed 4-finger phosphor bronze clip contacts, providing reliable electrical connection and corrosion resistance. The connector operates continuously over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C (gold-plated version) and supports a rated voltage of 100 VRMS/150 VDC with a maximum current rating of 3 Amps per contact. The design includes a closed bottom sleeve for 100% anti-wicking of solder, high retention to prevent IC walkout during vibration, twist-free construction, and side/end stackability for flexible PCB layout. With contact resistance of =4 mO and insulation resistance of =1000 MO at 500 VAC, this connector is ideal for precision instrumentation, data acquisition systems, and industrial control applications requiring robust and reliable IC interfacing.
