DESCRIPTION

01070-387 is an incremental optical encoder from the HS35 series, designed with a rugged hollow shaft configuration for demanding industrial environments. It features dual bearings and shaft seals providing NEMA 4, 13, and IP65 environmental protection, with a die cast aluminum housing and cover with protective finish. The encoder accommodates shaft bores from 0.500" to 1.00" with insulating sleeves, supports maximum speeds of 6,000 RPM, and offers bearing life of 7.5 × 10? revolutions. Environmental specifications include shock resistance of 50 g's for 11 msec, vibration tolerance of 5 to 2000 Hz at 20 g's, and operating temperature range of 0° to 70°C.
