DESCRIPTION
01070-552 is an incremental optical encoder from the HS35 series, designed to combine rugged heavy-duty features with a hollow shaft configuration. It features dual bearings and shaft seals providing NEMA 4, 13 and IP65 environmental ratings, with a rugged metal housing and sealed connector or cable gland options. The encoder operates within a temperature range of 0°C to 70°C (with extended temperature options available up to 105°C), withstands shock of 50 g's for 11 msec and vibration from 5 to 2000 Hz at 20 g's, and handles humidity up to 98% RH without condensation. The HS35 accommodates shafts up to 1" in diameter and offers dual output options for redundant signals, dual resolutions, or supplying two separate controllers. Common applications include motor feedback and vector control, printing industries, robotic control, oil service industries, and web process control.
