DESCRIPTION
The 1855A-YEL-1000 is a low-loss serial digital coaxial cable designed for professional video transmission in HD-SDI and UHDTV applications. It features a 23 AWG solid bare copper conductor with a foam polyethylene (HDPE) core, dual shielding consisting of Duofoil tape (100% coverage) and 95% tinned copper braid, and a PVC jacket. The cable exhibits a characteristic impedance of 75 Ohm, nominal capacitance of 16.3 pF/ft, and inductance of 0.107 µH/ft, with insertion loss ranging from 0.39 dB/100ft at 1 MHz to 28.97 dB/100ft at 6000 MHz. It is rated for 300 V RMS, complies with UL1666 Vertical Shaft flammability standards and CSA FT4 rating, and is suitable for both indoor and outdoor (black only) installations. This cable is ideal for broadcast facilities, professional video production, and SMPTE 2081-1 6 Gbps UHDTV and SMPTE 424M 3 Gbps HD-SDI 1080P systems.
