DESCRIPTION

7928A-BLK-1000 is a Category 5e DataTuff multi-conductor twisted pair cable designed for industrial Ethernet and harsh environment applications. It features 4 bonded pairs of 24 AWG solid bare copper conductors with FEP insulation and a sunlight-, oil-, and gas-resistant FEP jacket, supporting 350MHz enhanced Category 5e performance. The cable operates over a wide temperature range of -70°C to +150°C, with a nominal impedance of 100 ohms and velocity of propagation of 72%. It is plenum-rated (CMP) and complies with TIA 568.C.2 Category 5e standards, ISO/IEC 11801 Class D, and RoHS directives. Common applications include Gigabit Ethernet, 100BaseTX, AES/EBU digital audio, and RS-422 communications in environments requiring resistance to high and low temperatures, oil, and gasoline exposure.
